  • 3. Be careful and accurate on all information provided: Any false or misleading information on your application will most likely result in your disqualification.
  • 4. Waiting Lists: The waiting lists for most, if not all low-income housing programs is long. Do not limit yourself to only apply to one apartment location.

Qualifications: Do you qualify to live here?
To qualify for low income housing in Texas, you must meet the following income requirements:

Your household income must be below 80% of the area median income (AMI). The AMI is updated annually by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and varies by county.

You must have a valid Social Security number or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN).

You must be a U.S. citizen or a legal immigrant.

In addition to the income requirements, you may also need to meet other eligibility requirements, such as:

- You must not have been evicted from any public housing or Section 8 housing in the past three years.
- You must not have any outstanding felony convictions for drug-related offenses.
- You must not be a registered sex offender.

      User Response: Nope First resident review I read are all of them followed they stay the same or same drug dealers for maintenance loud music coming out of car he is riding around when you recommend any missing you didn't have anywhere else to go

      User Response: Nope not from what I'm hearing. They're calling him very ghetto and out-of controll kids running around all times late night stealing out-of cars.maintenance bad unfortunately sometime you just don't have no choice when you need for the roof of your hair I just hope nobody gets hurt especially the kids but if the past would look after the kids instead of letting them run around like they're Wild
