You must have a valid Social Security number or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN).

You must be a U.S. citizen or a legal immigrant.

In addition to the income requirements, you may also need to meet other eligibility requirements, such as:

- You must not have been evicted from any public housing or Section 8 housing in the past three years.
- You must not have any outstanding felony convictions for drug-related offenses.
- You must not be a registered sex offender.

    I put in for the housing authority in aransas pass i've been on that list for about 2 years i've been brought in 3 different times finally to where i had to turn my utilities on i had a question so i called the woman said my criminal background didnt look good so she would talk to her supervisor an get back to me so here i sit 72hours later an 3 phone calls an a trip there to pick up my $400 deposit which understanding that took care of all of it. Hello i've taking enough enough is enough
