CHC offers housing for Senior Citizens age 62+ in our affordable ranch style homes. 5 bedrooms per house, each person has their own private bedroom and full bathroom. Each house includes a living room, dining room, porch or deck, and kitchen for all residents to share.

Amenities including food shopping are provided by CHC, cost included in monthly fee. General cleaning and all maintenance included. Some laundry assistance etc available. Fee is based on the individual's income, assets, and service needs, and is applied on a sliding fee scale. Section 8 welcome, but not required.

Tips Before Applying for Low Income Housing

Qualifications: Do you qualify to live here?
To qualify for low income housing in New Jersey, you must meet the following income requirements:

Your household income must be below 80% of the area median income (AMI). The AMI is updated annually by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and varies by county.

You must have a valid Social Security number or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN).

You must be a U.S. citizen or a legal immigrant.

In addition to the income requirements, you may also need to meet other eligibility requirements, such as:

- You must not have been evicted from any public housing or Section 8 housing in the past three years.
- You must not have any outstanding felony convictions for drug-related offenses.
- You must not be a registered sex offender.
