Four Square Community Action, Inc provides housing assistance to low income residents through the management of the areas Housing Choice Voucher Program - Section 8. This program is income based and the eligibility guidelines are set by HUD. There may be waiting lists for these vouchers and at times the lists may close to new applicants based on the size of and length of wait on the lists. Qualifications: Do you qualify to live here?
To qualify for low income housing in North Carolina, you must meet the following income requirements:

Your household income must be below 80% of the area median income (AMI). The AMI is updated annually by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and varies by county.

You must have a valid Social Security number or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN).

You must be a U.S. citizen or a legal immigrant.

In addition to the income requirements, you may also need to meet other eligibility requirements, such as:

- You must not have been evicted from any public housing or Section 8 housing in the past three years.
- You must not have any outstanding felony convictions for drug-related offenses.
- You must not be a registered sex offender.

    I'm macerated and my son and i need a home for my son that is 14 that allows dogs as soon as possible my son is on medicade and i have medicare and medicade that pays for my medicare premiums i am dis bailed i have to have a single f floor and i have sever anxiety and pstd i cant live in an an apartment or a complex it has to be in a trailer or a house do do my anxiety issues i see a councilor i have a fence so i can take it down to put into a back yard so my dog can be free to come in and out side to use the bathroom i take good care of my dogs flee s and ticks eck month so she does not bring fleas into the home at all and up to date on all shots as well. Please help us into a home thank you
