Murfreesboro Housing Authority provides housing assistance to low income residents through the management of programs such as Low Rent Public Housing and the Housing Choice Voucher Program - Section 8. Qualifications: Do you qualify to live here?
To qualify for low income housing in Tennessee, you must meet the following income requirements:

Your household income must be below 80% of the area median income (AMI). The AMI is updated annually by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and varies by county.

You must have a valid Social Security number or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN).

You must be a U.S. citizen or a legal immigrant.

In addition to the income requirements, you may also need to meet other eligibility requirements, such as:

- You must not have been evicted from any public housing or Section 8 housing in the past three years.
- You must not have any outstanding felony convictions for drug-related offenses.
- You must not be a registered sex offender.

    I’m a single disabled mother of 2. We r stick in a tiny tiny 2 bedrooms, not handicap accessible and i can’t get into the bathroom or anywhere in this place easily so i’m in bed about 99% of my life. Please don’t call if i need to pay for anything with y’all.
