Mayfield Plaza Apartments is a HUD Apartment. HUD residents usually pay 30% of their gross income for rent. Mayfield Plaza is Section 8 housing for families as well as the elderly and disabled.  Rent is based on adjusted income.  With the help of the full-time service coordinator, Mayfield Plaza provides planned community events that include fun games and helpful tips.
Our pet friendly community offers spacious one, two, three and four bedroom apartments with water, sewer and trash utilities paid. We are centrally located and have an abundance of amenities including; on-site laundry, community room, playground and much more!

Qualifications: Do you qualify to live here?
To qualify for low income housing in Kentucky, you must meet the following income requirements:

Your household income must be below 80% of the area median income (AMI). The AMI is updated annually by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and varies by county.

You must have a valid Social Security number or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN).

You must be a U.S. citizen or a legal immigrant.

In addition to the income requirements, you may also need to meet other eligibility requirements, such as:

- You must not have been evicted from any public housing or Section 8 housing in the past three years.
- You must not have any outstanding felony convictions for drug-related offenses.
- You must not be a registered sex offender.
