Greeley-Weld Housing Authority provides low income residents with housing assistance through the management of programs such as Low Rent Public Housing and the Housing Choice Voucher Program - Section 8. These programs are income based and eligibility requirements are set by HUD. There may be a waiting list for these programs vouchers or rentals and at times the lists may close to new applicants as the need for housing assistance becomes greater than the funds for rental assistance or the availability of housing. Their office is available Monday Tuesday Thursday Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m and Wednesday 8 a.m. to Noon to assist you.

Qualifications: Do you qualify to live here?

Your household income must be below 80% of the area median income (AMI). The AMI is updated annually by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and varies by county.

You must have a valid Social Security number or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN).

You must be a U.S. citizen or a legal immigrant.

In addition to the income requirements, you may also need to meet other eligibility requirements, such as:

- You must not have been evicted from any public housing or Section 8 housing in the past three years.
- You must not have any outstanding felony convictions for drug-related offenses.
- You must not be a registered sex offender.

    I'm trying to get in to a housing rehabilitation or program or even low income housing.. I've been in genesis program through boulder county for 2 years and she helped me apply for last year and a half on waiting list or have no idea why i couldn't qualify.. Was out if our hands but i couldn't possibly understand or get a explanation
