Fort Mill Housing Authority provides housing assistance to low income residents through the management of programs such as Low Rent Public Housing and the Housing Choice Voucher Program - Section 8. These programs are income based and the eligibility guidelines are set by HUD. Qualifications: Do you qualify to live here?
To qualify for low income housing in South Carolina, you must meet the following income requirements:

Your household income must be below 80% of the area median income (AMI). The AMI is updated annually by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and varies by county.

You must have a valid Social Security number or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN).

You must be a U.S. citizen or a legal immigrant.

In addition to the income requirements, you may also need to meet other eligibility requirements, such as:

- You must not have been evicted from any public housing or Section 8 housing in the past three years.
- You must not have any outstanding felony convictions for drug-related offenses.
- You must not be a registered sex offender.

    I'm applying for housing; right now i'm staying at pilgrims inn, me and my granddaughter and been looking for housing for a while.

    Hi yes i applied for housing 4 weeks ago when it was open and i received the email of enclosure information for assault and battery 3rd degree which i've called directly to the office and let them know that my application was frozen and i gave them the information of the charge but i paid 550 for it to be expunged i'm not understanding why i got denied and i was asking the there any way possible that i could please approve or how does the informational hearing work.
