Key Goals Are: -Creating A System Whereby Mon Valley Residents Are Connected To, And Prepared For, Employment Opportunities That Exist In The Region Now And In The Future. -Developing A Comprehensive Strategy For Housing Development, Which Will Substantially Increase The Scale Of Housing Development Especially Home Ownership In The Mon Valley. -Providing Risk Capital And Technical Assistance To New And Existing Enterprises. -Keeping MVI's CDCs Informed, Involved, And Up-To-Date About The Regional Agenda, Recruiting The Support Of Talented And Respected Volunteers Who Have Significant Influence And Political Clout Within The Region, And Retaining And Attracting Young People To The Mon Valley.
